Terms of Service
Last updated: July 2026
Acceptance
By accessing or using Cordiale (cordiale.io), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the platform.
Eligibility
To use Cordiale you must be able to form a binding agreement with us — generally the age of majority where you live, or at least 13 with the involvement of a parent or guardian. Cordiale isn't intended for children under 13.
What Cordiale Provides
Cordiale is a free platform for creating event invitations and collecting RSVPs through a single shareable link, for events of any kind. For weddings, it also offers a directory of vendors and planners you can browse and contact. Cordiale provides tools that connect hosts, guests, vendors, and planners — but we are not a party to any agreement or transaction between you and a vendor, planner, or your guests.
Your Account
To manage an event, you sign in with a one-time code sent to your email — there's no password to remember. You're responsible for keeping access to your email secure and for activity that happens under your account. Guests can RSVP without creating an account.
Events and RSVPs
Hosts are responsible for the accuracy of their event details and for their own communications with guests. Cordiale provides the tools but is not responsible for event outcomes, missed or duplicate RSVPs, no-shows, or miscommunication between hosts and guests. When you RSVP, you're responsible for the accuracy of the information and any message you submit. We may remove events used for anything other than legitimate event planning.
Your Content
You keep ownership of the content you submit — event details, messages, reviews, and RSVP responses. By submitting it, you grant Cordiale a non-exclusive license to host, store, and display that content as needed to operate the service (for example, showing your invitation to the guests you share it with, or a review on a vendor's profile). You're responsible for having the rights to whatever you submit, and for making sure it doesn't violate anyone else's rights or the law.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use Cordiale lawfully and not to: submit false or misleading information, impersonate others, post content that is illegal, infringing, harassing, or harmful, spam vendors, planners, or guests, scrape or copy the platform's data, attempt to reverse-engineer or disrupt the service, or use it in any way that harms Cordiale or its users. We may remove content or restrict access for violations.
Vendors, Planners, and Reviews
Vendor and planner listings are compiled from public sources, user submissions, and claimed profiles. While we aim for accuracy, Cordiale does not verify, endorse, or guarantee the quality, reliability, or legality of any vendor or planner, and you are responsible for your own due diligence before engaging one. Inquiries and reviews must be genuine and based on real interactions; we may moderate or remove content that appears fake, abusive, or misleading. Listings may link to third-party websites we don't control and aren't responsible for.
Intellectual Property
The Cordiale name, logo, designs, and original content are owned by Cordiale, and you may not copy, modify, or distribute them without permission. This doesn't affect your ownership of the content you submit, described above.
Changes to the Service
Cordiale is free, and we may add, change, or discontinue features at any time. We'll try to avoid disrupting active events, but we don't guarantee the service will always be available or unchanged.
Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
Cordiale is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cordiale is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the platform — including issues with vendor or planner services, event-planning outcomes, or data loss — and our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid us, which for our free service is zero.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Cordiale harmless from any claims or demands arising out of your use of the platform, the content you submit, or your violation of these terms or the rights of others.
Termination
We may suspend or end your access to Cordiale at any time, including for violation of these terms. You can stop using Cordiale at any time.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Cordiale operates, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date, and your continued use of Cordiale after changes means you accept them.
